Caroline is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist. She graduated from the University of South Alabama in 2014, and received her Master of Science degree from the University of Montevallo. She has experience working with pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations and has a passion for working with children with speech and language delays and disorders.
Sarah Brooks MCD, CCC-SLP
Sarah is so excited to be working at Milestones Behavior Group! Sarah is a licensed and certified speech language pathologist with the state of Alabama and Georgia and the American Speech and Hearing Association. She is a graduate of Auburn University where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree and a Master of Communication Disorders. She has worked with children of all ages in both the public school and private practice settings. Her specialties include articulation, language and fluency disorders. She is passionate about helping children communicate so they can make their voices heard.

Hannah Chandlee, BA, BCaBA, LABA is a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst. She is also a Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst in the state of Alabama. Hannah
has been working with children with Autism and various intellectual disabilities in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis since 2010. Hannah graduated summa cum laude from Samford University earning a degree in Family Studies in 2010 and completed the ABA Assistant Graduate Certificate Program at Florida Institute of Technology in 2016. Hannah has a passion for helping others, and she is dedicated
to improving the lives of children and their families through the use of the ethical and evidence-based practice of ABA.
Heather Williams, MS, BCBA, LBA
Heather Williams is a 2002 graduate from UAB with her B.S. in Psychology and a 2004 graduate from Jacksonville State University with her M.S. in Applied Psychology. Heather received her BCBA certification in December, 2008. Heather has been providing ABA services to children and their families since her undergraduate education to present. She is currently serving as the clinical director at the Milestones Clinic in Vestavia Hills, however you may see her from time to time in local schools.
Elizabeth Walsh, MS, BCBA
Elizabeth Walsh has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst since February 2014. Elizabeth earned a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Jacksonville State University in 2008 and a Masters of Science in Psychology specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis from Jacksonville State University in 2012. She has been providing ABA therapy and working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for 6 years on both in-home and school-based cases from ages 2-21. Elizabeth specializes in treating maladaptive behaviors including elopement, toileting, and using the Verbal Behavior Approach to teach language to children with Autism and other developmental disabilities. She works to provide individualized training for teachers, paraprofessionals, and parents as well as general training in the implementation of ABA principles and strategies in the classroom and at home.
Jodie Maharrey, MS, BCBA
Jodie Maharrey is a native of LaGrange, GA. She earned her Bachelor's of Science in Psychology Degree from Savannah State University in Savannah, GA and a Master's of Psychology with a specialty in ABA from Florida State University in 2011. Her experience varies from Early Intervention for Autism to treating Adults with ID's using ABA.
Shelby Dunagan, MS, BCBA, LBA
Shelby is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Shelby
has been working with children with various intellectual disabilities and behavioral disabilities since 2014 after she completed her Neuroscience degree at University of Alabama at Birmingham. Shelby graduated from Jacksonville State University earning her Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2017. Shelby is devoted to using the principles of ABA to improve the lives of children and their families.
Helen Mushalla, MA, BCBA
Helen started her experience with ABA as a senior in college during an internship and fell in love with the field. After graduating with a major in Human Services and minors in Spanish and Psychology from Purdue University in 2014, Helen began working as an ABA therapist. Two years into the field Helen decided to pursue further education and earned her Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis in December of 2017. She is currently preparing to sit for the Boards to become a BCBA.

Courtney has experience working with children of all ages with communication delays and disorders. She is passionate about providing individualized care for all clients, while making therapy fun and enjoyable.

Alicia Howard, MEd., BCaBA
Alicia Howard graduated with honors from Athens State University with a Bachelors degree in Religion and a minor in Sociology in 2009. She then graduated with honors from Jacksonville State University with a Master’s degree in Collaborative/Special Education K-6 in 2013. She completed her course work for ABA through the University of Cincinnati in 2017. Prior to becoming a behavior analyst, Alicia was a special education teacher in a small group setting classroom for students with ASD and also served students with a wide range of abilities and diagnosis (intellectual disabilities, emotionally disturbed, ADHD, and ODD.) Alicia is currently completing clinical hours and preparing to become a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. Alicia has a passion for children and is dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals by ethically using research based ABA principles and strategies.
Joy Wimberly, MA, RBT
Joy Wimberly, MA, RBT is originally from Birmingham, Alabama. She attended the University of North Alabama and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in psychology. She recently graduated with her M.A. in school psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi. There she taught undergrad applied behavior analysis as a part of her assistantship. She is currently receiving supervision to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and is completing her BACB coursework at Florida Institute of Technology. Joy has worked with a variety of ages and diagnoses. Joy has a passion for the dissemination of ABA. As a hobby, Joy likes to apply ABA to fitness and nutrition.
Hillary Owens, BS, RBT
Hillary Bumpus Owens earned her undergraduate degree from Jacksonville State University (JSU) in April 2017. She graduated with her B.S. in psychology, Magna Cum Laude with special honors in psychology. Hillary worked in JSU’s Center for Behavioral Studies (CBS) from 2015- 2017 providing early intervention services and in the Learning 2 Mastery (L2M) after-school program where she implemented principles of behavior analysis, precision teaching and direct instruction with school-aged children. Hillary is currently a graduate student at JSU working towards her M.S. in psychology (applied behavior analysis). Hillary obtained her registered behavior technician (RBT) credentials in April 2017.

Maddie Smith a recent graduate from Auburn University where she obtained her Bachelors in Rehabilitation and Disability Studies. She is now working towards her Masters in Behavior Analysis at Simmons College. Maddie recently became certified as an RBT but has worked previously at a private school for children with autism where she worked one on one with children and teens with severe maladaptive behaviors. Once she obtains her BCBA certification she hopes to specialize in severe behavior. Maddie is loving her position as an RBT and is very excited to continue her work in this profession and improve the lives of those she has the privilege of working with.
Haylee Gann, RBT
Haylee is extremely passionate about ABA!
She is about to pursue a degree in psychology to further her knowledge and become a BCaBA. She is currently a Registered Behavior Technician.
Kendall Downing, BA, RBT
Kendall received her B.A. in Child Development and Family Relations, at Kentucky State University. She has worked with children and families though out her undergraduate experience and as an intern with the Navy Child and Youth Programs. Right after her internship she received her RBT certification working in the ABA field, in Virginia Beach, VA. Kendall is currently studying to become a BCBA at the University of Cincinnati online. On her spare time she loves to workout and coaches children sports teams.
Aimee Bals, BS, RBT
Aimee is so excited to be working for Milestones. She has a psychology degree from Mississippi College, where she graduated in 2017. She is currently pursuing her BCaBA by taking coursework through Florida Institute of Technology. She is honored to work with the families she gets to work with through Milestones and believes in the power of ABA.
Karen Adwell, BA, RBT
Karen received her BA in Psychology from Auburn University. She is very excited to take this step in her career! Karen always enjoyed Child Development and Learning courses, and has been heavily involved in childcare of all ages. She thoroughly enjoys working with children learning more about them every day, and is so happy she gets to work with such wonderful kids and their families! Karen hopes she can use her knowledge of ABA Therapy to help make a positive difference in the lives of children and their loved ones.
Devorah Story, BA, RBT
In 2010, Devorah graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology and a minor in speech from Georgia State University. During her studies, she began working with children as a YMCA counselor. Shortly after graduation, she accepted a job at the Marcus Autism Center working in the Language and Learning Clinic with children who are diagnosed with Autism or other developmental disorders. A huge part of Devorah's skill set focused on helping kids acquire and/or increase their speech. After spending quite some time helping this population of kids develop language, she transitioned to the Severe Behavior Clinic, where she gained experience implementing interventions which focused more on reducing challenging behaviors. Devorah has gained a wide range of skills within the ABA field and over the years has found her niche in working with this population.
Seth Martin, MS, BCBA, LBA
Oxford, Gadsden, Anniston
Seth attended Jacksonville State University and graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's of science in psychology in 2010 as well as summa cum laude with a master's of science in psychology in 2013. He has addressed challenging behavior using skill assessment and behavior support planning using the principles of behavior analysis. His work has included work with populations from ages 4 to 19. He has serviced individuals with autism spectrum disorder as well as typically developing individuals. He has also served clients in clinic, home, and school settings and primarily has a history training school staff to implement behavior reduction and skill acquisition programs. Seth is quite grateful for the opportunity to implement applied behavior analysis in an ethical, effective manner.

Kelly holds a Master's in Special Education from the University of Alabama and completed her Graduate Coursework in ABA at The University of North Texas. Before her career in Behavior Analysis, Kelly was a special education teacher for almost 2 decades. She has worked with students of all ages and exceptionalities
Nathan Benson, MS, BCBA
Nathan Benson is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. He earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Mississippi and completed his Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Auburn University. Nathan has worked with individuals ranging in age from 2 to 55 years old and across developmental disabilities.

Ashley is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Ashley received her Master’s in
Psychology with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Jacksonville State
University in May 2018. Ashley's concentration is in early intervention and school consulting and she works in various settings including home, daycare, clinic, and schools. She has a deep passion for helping children by using the techniques and applications of applied behavior analysis.
Chiara Brown, MS, BCBA
Chiara Brown, M.S., B.C.B.A. has been providing applied behavior analysis services to
individuals with a variety of disabilities since 2008. Chiara received her Master’s in
Psychology with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Florida State
University in 2011 and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (B.C.B.A.). She specializes
in providing direct consultation services to school systems, conducting trainings on
various topics related to the field of Applied Behavior Analysis, conducting skill
assessments to formulate verbal behavior programming, conducting functional behavior
assessments, writing behavior intervention plans for students, and teaching social skills.
Anna Leigh Marshall, M.S., CCC-SLP
Anna Leigh is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist. She received her Bachelor’s degree in both Elementary and Special Education from Samford University in 2013. From there, she went directly to the University of Montevallo where she received her Master of Science degree for Communication Disorders in Speech-Language Pathology. Since graduating, she has worked in a variety of settings, including preschool, public school, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation facilities, and skilled nursing facilities. Through her time across various settings, her passion has remained in working with children of all ages. Her goal is to promote speech and language development to empower her clients to be the best communicators they can be.
